This page contains Scion FRS mufflers, exhaust systems and exhaust tips. The Scion FRS comes with a stock exhaust system that is designed do remove exhaust fumes from a combustion engine as quietly as possible at the cost of being restrictive. An aftermarket exhaust is much lighter and less restrictive than a stock FRS exhaust.
Scion FRS Exhaust Systems (TRD Version shown above)
The photo above shows the Toyota FT86/Scion FRS TRD edition with a quad-tip aftermarket exhaust system. The stock Scion FRS comes with a dual exhuast system, one exhaust on each side of the vehicle split by a rear diffuser. There are currently several after market performance manufacturers that are developing exhaust systems for the Scion FRS. After market exhaust systems often have various muffler designs and exhaust tips. Most exhaust systems are manufactured with stainless steel or titanium.
The photo above shows the stock rear diffuser and exhaust tips. The production version may vary slightly but you can see that the exhaust tips are very minimal compared to the TRD version shown in the first photo. We expect to see many new exhaust designs being developed over the course of the year culminating in a spotlight on this vehicle for the 2012 SEMA show in Las Vegas.
