Subaru BRZ Exhaust Systems
This page contains Subaru BRZ exhaust systems and mufflers. The Subaru BRZ comes with a stock exhaust system that is designed do remove exhaust fumes from a combustion engine as quietly as possible at the cost of being restrictive. An aftermarket exhaust is much lighter and less restrictive than a stock BRZ exhaust.
Subaru BRZ Exhaust System
The photo above shows the Subaru BRZ concept with a quad-tip aftermarket exhaust system during the LA Auto show. The stock Subaru BRZ comes with a dual exhuast system, one exhaust on each side of the vehicle split by a rear diffuser. There are currently several after market performance manufacturers that are developing exhaust systems for the Subaru BRZ. After market exhaust systems often have various muffler designs and exhaust tips. Most exhaust systems are manufactured with stainless steel or titanium.
The above photo shows a Subaru WRX exhaust system, you can see that the stock piping has been removed and upgraded to a version that has a wider diameter as well as manufactured with a lighter weight material.
